Oh my, in a few more days we would be bidding farewell to 2005,

it makes me wonder what i have achieved or rather what i have done in 2005 . .

now lets have a recap of what happened . .

from jan to june . . i was having my IA attached at MSI,
was very glad that i was able to get a place there, learned alot of stuff . . .

learned how to operate more machines, hmm .. might be beneficial in resume ??
hahaha, i wonder . . LoLz

Apart from that learned how to tackle people as well as problems . . very very beneficial . .
really greatful to my IA supervisors over there, Andrew and Kwanghong . . many thanks to them . . there is still good people out there . . . !!!!!! hahahahaha

Apart from that, made a couple new frens . . now there is a regular IA outing for the whole gang, want a pic of my IA frens go over to my friendster site and check it out . .

Start of july, went back to Uni . . and decision making time, specialization choosing time, eventually i chose Electronic Packaging . . think i am fated for this line le,
coz when i was in poly my IA time, i was attached to a company producing print circuit board,
and now my uni IA, i chose MSI . . hahahaha . .

from july to dec . . mainly study study, play play . . kinda boring . . but towards the end of the year, there were more activities like EXAMS !! and there was the yearly sec sch outing@ billy bombers . . recieving xmas present and stuff during xmas . . hahahaha . . and not to forget the Uni chalet i had, it was so fun . . hahaha . . Oh ya, this year i pass every single freaking subjects, wahahaha . . . oh ya, i also went to isetan's private sale yday bec my sis is a isetan member . .
must remember to ask her to get me a isentan membership . .
PS: everything was like 30% off .. some 50% !!!!!

but one thing i learned from yday is . . level 1 and level 2 is out of bounds . .
level 1 was shoe and cosmetics . . it was world war 3 down there . . total chaos, total disorder . .
level 2 was ladies' wear, OMG . . scary but still better than shoes section . . hahaha

but i managed to grab something for myself . .
and then my fren was getting something for her dad, so we went to burberry's to check it out,
got wat we were looking for and saw the price being $98.00 and on top of that 30% off . .
PS: that was what was wrote, but we later found out that 98.00 was the after discount price . . haha, so look carefully next time folks . . .

think i got scared of shopping for some time now, need to recover from the trauma . . hahaha.

omg, its time to go for tea break . . well thats all folks . . till next year . .

Wow how time flies, its almost the end of 2005 and what a great way to end each year with christmas as usual ('',)

but this means another troubling time, X'mas shopping. although there aint much on my list, yet it always troubles me to find gifts for others . .
i have the tendency to give the perfect gift, if not, a nearly perfect gift . . .
Finding trouble for myself ??

"what kind of gift-givers are u" and u will know y i am trouble now coz i feel that it holds quite true for me*

although my fren did say before, "christmas is a time for sharing and caring, the present doesnt matter" or something near that, hee :P

Yup, i agree but the joy of seeing someone really liking the present u give them doubles that joy don't u think so ?

Learned a hard lesson today, i saw an item that i intended to get for a X'mas present during my study period in Sembawang Shopping Centre (SSC), and as 25th Dec creeps in, the alarm for getting presents started ringing . .

and yday, 21th Dec i decided to "knock off" earlier from my fyp work at sch and headed down to SSC to buy that present. TO MY HORROR!!, the store was closed !!!! (>.<)

At first i thought, "Hmm, maybe the owners went for dinner ba, i'll Wait !" and there i was siting at BK waiting and waiting and waiting till i came to this conclusion, they aren't opening for business for the night . .
*drats i should have bought it earlier*

so i decided to try again this morning, set out early this morning .. i think about 10 am, reached there and found that . . . . .
they weren't open for business yet ?!
*(o.O'') . . don't they need do business ??*

And so the wait began . . . siting at BK again . .
*BK's managers must really hate me, hee (^.^) *

its 11.00+ am and still the store is not opened, after sometime, i decided to head for sch to do some work. Left sch @ 3.00+ pm .. reached SSC about 5.00+ pm to try my luck again,

hahaha .. the store is OPEN !!! * Hurray* i went there and took a look, to my dismay . .
where's the item i wanted to buy ??????? i look here and there but couldn't find it !!!
I asked the owners and they said they dun have any extra stock and if its not here, its sold out!
* double drats, i should have bought it when i was studying in SSC !!!! ARgh !!!!!!*

so what this tells u is that, once u c something, better get hold of it first hand . . .
proven and verified by your's sincerely dumbo here . . haiz :(

Now back to the "drawing Board" what to get in replacement ?? :(

Actually a backup plan was Famous Amos biscuits in their christmas promotion containers . .
* really nice looking, could be an option for people out there, i highly reccomend it*

But dun think it's applicable now, recipiant of this intended present is not feeling too well from eating too much of her own baked biscuits . .
* panic time !! what to get ?? . . . but no fret, i will be able to conjure something up ba . . i hope*

Don't follow in my footsteps folk, thats unless u want to undergo the same problem i experienced.

Update Time !!!!

ExaMs are Over !!! Phew, glad its all over . . .
results are out around 3rd week of dec . .
Hopefully no extra shocks! I can't take shocks ani more . .

Afterwhich, the decision to choose another 2 more prescribed electives,
One is Quality Assurance, the other one . . hmm, i am still thinking about it,

thermal mgmt i can't take because its related to heat transfer . . which i haven took yet, so this choice is out,

mechanical reliability . . .
stress and strain ??? I can consider . . but i dun think its gonna be ez.

Surface Mount Technology . .
sounds like another memorising session again . . worth a shot at it . . LoLz.

Lastly should i go for advance jap? since the interest its there . . And most of all, ITS FREE !! ..

hmm .. lets just wait till the time comes then before i make the decision, might have more insights into those later . . LoLz

Back to Happy Stuff !!!!!
Just came back from chalet @ pasir ris . . a bit shagged out . .

Saturday !!

woke up around 9 am and started packing . . its was supposed to last from saturday till monday, but most of us, because of our fyp commitment had to leave on sunday.

met up with ah cheng and kevin to help him carry stuff to the chalet, but before that had our lunch at changi village . . and its obvious what we were going to makan there, chicken cutlet hor fan !!!

Darn delicious i tell u . . but but ... going back all the way to eat it seems kinda troublesome . . why are all the good food away from the north ???? SianzZz :(

check in around 2.45pm like that . . . and started sorting things out . . oh btw, our chalet is a 2 storey one . . KeKeKe.

The rest of the gang started streaming in around 3-4 pm.
The first activity there . . eating and drinking !!! . .

Shawn brought in a sake or something like that alcohol drink . . took a sip . . hated it . . LoLz, seems i dun really like non-sweet stuff . . lolz

Subsequently some of the guys went for a dip in the pool nearby. . .
everyone came back around 5-6+ and thats when all the fun starts . . . BBQ time!!!!

Hmm . . let's see . . what did we had . . chicken fillets and chicken mid wings, satays, otak, marshmellow, sweet potatoe, corn . . . . . . i think thats all i can remember. . hahaha.

when the food was done, some of us went to watch TV while some of them played "dai di"

the best one would have to be uchi dancing infront of YL, wahahaha. . . dead funny ..

as the night got later, we all turned in, preparing for the next day.


Sunday

Morning woke up around 8+, went downstairs to find . . wah kao . .
Some of them already BBQ-ing stuff for breakfast already ??!!

Later on, heard from those sleeping downstairs . . Uchi was mumbling some maths-like equation during his sleep ??!!! He is indeed the Genius-sort of person . . wahahaha.
Richard got kicked by mike twice . . LoLz. Could it be a suppressed enmity mike have with richard surfacing out in mike's sub-concious state??? Hmm, We'll just leave it to them to sort it out . . .

Breakfast was left over food from yday nite. Me and richard ate some otak, tasted ok but we were going to the loo after that . . LoLz
Grateful that joe went out to buy us some kopi and kopi-o and teh . .

Next Up !!! Bowling @ downtown east . . . pathetic scoreline . . am i losing my touch ???
after that, we wanted to do some water sports @ wild wild wet . . hmm, the place aint really that nice, attraction is kinda limited and we heard the one at jurong offers almost the same stuff . . and cost was ex, so we forgo this part of the activity. in the end, we ended up playing arcade, LoLz.

After some time @ the arcade, we went back to chalet and prepare for the next activity, BEACH SOCCER.

by the time we got to the beach, there wasnt much beach and sand around . . so onto the field.
after playing for an hour or so, it seems like forever to me . . . we headed back for the chalet. clean up a bit and decided to go for the last activity of this chalet,

a dip in the pool to cool down . . . Joe had this crazy idea of doing a waterboy kinda of act and have the girls film us . . . but but . . my card was running outa space . . sianz Z z . .
